Mom Favorites For The 1st Nine Months

The first 9 months of acclimating to having a new baby is an adjustment.  It doesn’t matter if this is your 1st kid or your 3rd.  Every child is different, and it takes time to learn your baby and them to learn you.

Part of motherhood is learning as you go and knowing that you will never be perfect, and finding ways to help make life easier.  
 
I know I can’t do it all myself it takes help from people and ITEMS to help make this adjustment to adding a child to your family.
 
I wanted to share my guide of items that has made life easier this first 9 months of having another baby in the home.
 

Diaper bag:

I truly feel the diaper bag is the foundation of making outings successful.  Having a durable and spacious diaper bag is imperative to being a mom on the go.  It is always an added bonus when you have a diaper bag is very stylish too! 

If you like having multiple diaper bags I would recommend choosing bags that will coordinate the most the bulk of your clothing.  I knew it was important to have a bag that matches with black, browns, and I have a slight obsession with Navy. So when I saw this Navy bag it was really a no brainer. For me, it is important for me to have diaper bag that can primarily fit Cyrus’s items, but also accommodate anything I need for the older boys.

-Bottle
-Change of clothes
-Baby Food
-Other kids extra snacks
-Toys for all the boys 
-Diapers

Car Seat:
For each of our kids we have alway used Chicco, I love the price point and it has been easy to manuever in/out the vehicle. We love Chicco so much we even have Calvin’s convertible car seat by them, and their Urban stroller.
 
Bedtime:
We have tried everything to aid in getting Cyrus sleeping soundly through the night.  Everyone of my children had different sleeping habits. Just be patient and know that it is a temporary season.

Bottles – We swear by Tommee Tippee bottles we have used them for all our boys and absolutely love them!

High chair – Cyrus starting eating baby food for over a couple months now, and he is such a messy eater.  We tried for the first time our Foodoo Joovy high chair, and love it!
Bowls
 
 
Playtime:
Cyrus has transitioned into such an active baby.  He rarely prefers to be held, I think it’s because he sees his 2 older brothers.  We already feel like he will be an early walker. Cyrus loves play time with some of our favorite toys:
 
 
Clothing:

We had clothing from Calvin along with buying some items.  My tip to any new mom is not to go overboard. Cyrus has so many clothes that he has not worn and now don’t fit him.

I got most of Cyrus’s clothing from Target, Carters, Gymboree, and Old Navy.

After doing this 3 times you would think we would have been completely prepared and had everything we needed.  But we didn’t, and that’s ok! That is why they make Amazon and Target.

Give yourself time to adjust, and hopefully my favorite baby items will help as you prepare for your first 9 months.
