Spring Transitional Outfit

Spring is so close yet feels so far! Dallas doesn’t know if it is ready to bring on the Spring temps or stay in these frigid Winter temps. I am over these cold temps!  All my boys are tired of being cooped up in the house, and to be honest they are working my nerves.  I wish I could just say go play outside! Ugh! Bring on Spring!

My Outfit: Top | Cardigan | Jeans | Necklace | Shoes Earrings | Watch Handbag
Calvin’s Outfit: Sweatshirt Sweatpants |Shoes

If you’re like me, you are probably wondering what to wear for a Spring transition look.  For me, I am still wearing long sleeves, but I am warming it up by incorporating some Spring color tones.

Layer up – During this time of year Dallas can change it’s temp 4 different times in one day.  I’ve learned it’s best to layer.  I live in simple tops and adding a cardigan on top of it. Perfect for the days when it goes from 45 to 70 degrees.

Spring colors – I am ready to brighten up my wardrobe a bit.  Consider bright and fresh Spring colors, it will help you get in the mindset of Spring.

Ditch the boots – There is nothing that keeps you in the Winter mindset than boots.  Think Spring by incorporating some light Spring shoes. I know you can pull out the sandals yet in 50 and 60 degree temps.  Try adding a fun flatform sneaker like my gold ruffles, or open toe bootie. Both perfect for this in between weather.

If you have the Winter blues, don’t worry Spring is coming!

Side Note: If you are sitting here thinking wow Calvin is so well behave.  This picture did not capture me bribing him with ice cream for about 10 minutes prior in order to get him to cooperate. #toddlerprobs
