Our sweet and spicy Cece turned 2 this year, and there was no better party theme than Two-tti Frutti. This little girl is the answer to so many of our prayers, the final puzzle piece that completes our family, and every day her big personality shines a little brighter. We couldn’t have picked a better theme, and the party came together more beautifully than I ever imagined. We had the most amazing time celebrating our little Cece, and she absolutely loved being the princess of the party!

The Food

August in Texas means one thing—scorching heat. With temperatures over 100 degrees, we decided to beat the heat by hosting the party earlier in the day with a delicious brunch spread. We didn’t go for just any charcuterie board; we went full-on brunch mode with chicken and waffles, quiche, muffins, and so much more.

And oh, the cake! It was beyond gorgeous. The cookies were the cutest, and everything just came together in the best way.

These cake pops were my absolute favorite! Shaped like little fruits, they were almost too cute to eat… but we definitely did, and they were delicious! The Rice Krispies treats were a fun touch too, and of course, we had to go fruity pebble flavor to stay on theme.

The Decor and Details

The balloon display completely transformed our home into a fruity paradise. The vibrant colors and the balloon garland were spot-on perfect, and Cece was obsessed with the big fruit balloons. She held onto a strawberry balloon for days, carrying it around like her new best friend—so cute!

One of my favorite details was the acrylic signage. I always try to add this special touch to our parties, and it’s the perfect way to tie all the decor together and make everything feel so personalized.

I couldn’t have a Two-tti Frutti party without Cece’s juice bar. The juice stand was adorable! For the kids, we served lemonade, and for the adults, we had to include mimosas. I played bartender and made upside-down pineapple mimosas—so refreshing and just right for a hot summer day.

The Activities

With the Texas heat, I knew we had to have something to cool the kids down, so we got a waterslide! They spent hours splashing around, having the time of their lives. And because Cece absolutely loves ball pits, we made sure to include one, too. The balls even matched the theme, and we added more big fruit balloons for extra fun. These activities were a hit with our small group of kiddos. They had an absolute blast!
