Summer break kicked off for Calvin last week and Cameron kicks of this week! I cannot believe that our boys are almost done with school! To make it even crazier I can’t believe that I am one step closer to having a Kindergartener and Sixth grader. Don’t even get me started on it.
Summer can sometimes get a bit tricky for our household because we both work full time; so it is important that the boys have a pretty organized summer.
I am sure you are wondering what you should do with the kids this summer and I get it, I’ve had those same thoughts.
Our boys are very excited about the upcoming summer break! I can’t wait to do these fun summer activities with them! These will help the boys have a fun and enriched summer vacation!

Last summer our favorite thing to do was ride bikes to the pool. We’ve got a brand new baby this summer so our family dynamics are switched up a little bit. I loved your backyard camping idea and the simple things like make pizza. Such a fun way to creat memories.
Congrats! Yes definitely try backyard camping! It will be a fun and easy win!
I’m loving the community service one! I really want Cortlynn to realize that we need to give back to the less fortunate! Great character building and bonding time.
Yes community service is huge for us! We want our boys to know to have a serving spirit!
I love the ideas hun. I definitely will be using this as a guide. Our family loves zoo day
Zoo days are the best!
My favorite summer activities are free movies/concerts in the park and we love hitting the water park with the buy one day admission and go back all summer! I also love taking advantage of the classes and events our local library offers!
Yes! I didn’t even think about movie day! I love that!
The splash pad, swim lessons and a stem program are three of my favorites!
We just got our boys signed up for swim lessons!!
My favorites would definitely be backyard camping, family vacation, and splash pad. Loved your ideas ❤️
Love that! Can’t wait to do backyard camping!!
These are awesome ideas i personally like to take my boys to our neighborhood pool and do book reports. It’s important to make sure they are still retaining some of their knowledge :).
Yes! I love taking my boys to the pool!!
