We’re officially preparing to potty train our 2-year-old toddler! It wasn’t something we had planned to start just yet, but Cece is definitely ready for it. After potty training four boys, this is our first time with a girl, and we’re doing everything we can to set her up for success!
I decided to create a portable potty training station so we’d have all the essentials for every bathroom trip. I found an adjustable caddy organizer that’s perfect for carrying everything we need. I stocked it with potty training underwear, Hello Bello wipes, and Cece’s new potty training books. I also discovered this really cool potty training watch timer that comes with a matching book! You can set it to ring every 10, 15, 20 minutes—whatever works best for reminders.
I also picked up this adorable reward jar that’s been a fun way for Cece to see her progress after each bathroom visit!
Another great tool is this potty training chart, which gives us a clear visual to review with Cece. It’s super easy and fun for her to follow along with.
When I found this super cute potty training chair, I just had to get it for her! Not only does it look adorable, but it’s supportive and really easy to set up and take down.
And I couldn’t forget about the handwashing timer! We have the same one in the boys’ bathroom, and it’s been amazing. I set it up so Cece can reach it easily, and it’s a fun way to make sure she’s washing her hands for the right amount of time.
