Alright, ladies, this is for all the teachers out there! I know you already have one of the most challenging jobs in the world, and as a small token of my gratitude, I wanted to put together a bunch of outfit ideas for this fall. I wanted to use everyday items most of us already own and share ways to re-wear several pieces – kind of like a fall teacher capsule wardrobe.
Even if you don’t have the exact piece, I’m hoping you can use this as inspo for what’s already in your closet! And maybe treat yourself to a couple new pieces for all your hard work 😉
You can find all the items I used to style here or under the looks below. Let’s get into it!
Midi skirts are having a moment, and I find them to be one of the most comfortable items that still looks polished. Have fun playing with either tucking in a shirt or layering items over, like I did with the button-up and vest.
Find yourself a well-fitting pair of slacks, and you’ll have a million outfit ideas. You could even pair them with a pair of heels to take yourself from the classroom to dinner with friends after class is dismissed!
A cinched dress is one of my favorite things to style since it’s so versatile. I find that the cinched waist makes it easy to throw on a t-shirt or belt over to make it double as a skirt. Plus it’s always a flattering look!
Here in Texas, a dress can get you through the fall. Pair it with a cute cardigan or denim jacket once the temps start to drop – and it becomes a whole new look!
An LBD works in most settings and can be dressed up or down depending on your school’s vibe. Try tying up a button-up for a chic look, or throw on a t-shirt and sneakers for something more low-key.
I had Fridays in mind with these outfits since some schools only allow jeans on certain days of the week. Each of these looks is super comfortable, whether you’re on PE duty or have a long day of conferences!
