Modern Guest Bedroom: How To Create An Inviting Space

Our modern guest bedroom is complete. I wanted to create a space that felt different from the rest of our home, but also still inviting for any guest that we may host. I kept trying looking on Pinterest to find different types of guest spaces that I loved. I couldn’t find exactly what I wanted, so I went with a concept I am loving. I would say this is transitional modern bedroom.

I was able to get the bulk of my items from Bed, Bath, and Beyond which made it a one stop shop, and very easy to get most of my items all in one spot. My most favorite item I got was our console stand. Our guest bedroom is not that big, and since this is not a main bedroom I decided against a dresser. I went with a console stand instead and left baskets for guests and to place their personal belongings.

My goal for the bedroom was to make an inviting guest space. I did this by:

1.Making the Wifi Network accessible – I got a wifi sign from Etsy that guest can easily find.

2. Extra Blankets and Pillows – Every person has different temperature comfort. I added extra blankets to make our guest comfortable.

3. Add Luggage Rack – I want this to feel like a mini-hotel, so grabbed a luggage rack to give their luggage a place.

4.Trays – There are various basket trays for guests to put their smaller belongings.

5. TV – We will be having guests that will be here for a longer period of time. Sometimes guest may want to have some peace from our house full of kids and watch TV in our their room. We added a 32 inch Frame TV so it can look decorative but functional.
