Fall is almost here and I cannot wait! It is my favorite season of the year for so many reasons. I love the weather during this time. You are no longer sweating but not yet dealing with a harsh winter. Being from Michigan really makes you appreciate all 4 seasons, so it was an adjustment moving to Texas and having such long summers. In Michigan it is such a beautiful time with weather and the trees turning color (minus picking up leaves, I despise that)
Football is definitely another reason for my love a Fall. We are counting down until kickoff! GO LIONS! I think this love started being a cheerleader and playing for a great football team and it just always stuck with me. My husband and Cameron love it, so it is our family enjoyment on the weekends. Even though almost weekly I get mad at Cameron because he makes fun of the Lions. 🙁
My birthday is in the Fall, and I will be turning 3-0! I always liked it because I was able to have back to back holidays. We would have Halloween, my Birthday, Thanksgiving, and then Christmas!!!! And to add to those festivities Cameron’s birthday is a week before mine!
Most importantly, the FALL FASHION! What is there not to love? You have boots, warm earth colors, jackets, turtlenecks. So many things to love!
Here are a few of my favorite styles I am looking forward to indulging in.
Fall colors: My second favorite color is green, and more importantly olive. I love this hue. Plan on added some of this color in your wardrobe. It works perfectly with any brown or cream. Another great one is burgundy. I plan on getting a burgundy bag and booties. It is such a rich color, and screams Fall. I even love a nice burgundy lip color to add a nice flair to my look. Of course you can never go wrong with Black, this is a staple color in the cooler months.
Boots/Booties: I love any form of boot! I try to get my staple colors in each the boot and bootie. You can wear booties casual and dressy, and it is versatile to wear it before it gets a lot cooler.
Sweaters: Give me a long sweater, leggings, boots, and I am a happy woman! This is the ultimate comfortable Fall outfit, that I wear on repeat. I also love a good turtleneck!
Nail polish: Sounds ridiculous, but when Fall hits I bring back my ultimate favorite nail polish color. Midnight in Moscow by OPI. I am pretty lame in the Fall, I pretty much only wear that color with an occasional deep red.
Hoodies: Let’s be honest, this is my every day comfy go-to. I love a good hoodie to bum around in, but that is still cute enough to run some errands. Or go watch Cam play football.
Flannels: If you don’t wear a good flannel top you are missing out! I love a Red/Black lumberjack flannel and black accessories.
Again, there is so much stuff to love about Fall. That was just my top favorite Fall style I look forward to every season. Start stocking up now!
