My children’s arts and crafts were completely getting out of hand. Finding a solution was long overdue. Daily I was stepping on and breaking crayons. So I teamed up with the Container Store to get a solution for my boys arts and crafts, by creating a craft cart.
What I love most about this cart is while I used it for crafting it can be used variety different ways, and it is only $30! You can shop my blue cart or different colors by clicking image link below.
The cart is only $30 and the best solution to organize crafts. I chose to use it for arts and crafts but it would also be great as a bathroom storage cart and more…
5 Easy Tips to Organize Crafts
To make it easier, I did a Youtube tutorial showing you each of the steps to organize crafts. Watch below, and don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel!

Step 1. Assemble
Thankfully my husband took this project on. The cart was super simple to put together.
Step 2. Assess your Mess & Sort
We went hunting around the house for all the arts and crafts we could find, because they were all scattered around the house. Put them all in one spot to get an idea of how much storage you need and what type to get. I then put everything in similar piles to make it easy when placing the items in storage bins.
Step 3. Stock Up
Once you have an idea of what type of storage you need, then it’s time to shop. I got all of the items to organize our crafts from the Container Store. I decided to go with most of my storage that is the Colorwave by Smart Store. I personally get more than what I need because I don’t ever want to be deep in my organization project and not finish because I don’t have the supplies.
Step 4. Stock
I decided to just place the arts and crafts as I went. However, you may also start with putting all the storage on the cart first to create a road map with how/where you will place everything.
Step 5. Enjoy the Organization
Organizing our boys arts and crafts in one location was a lifesaver. It looks so much more organized instead of being scattered around the house. Plus it makes it easier for the kids when they are ready to do an activity, plus the cart has wheels so the kids can have it wherever they are working on their crafts. I have boys so let’s also hope that they don’t decide to have a competition pushing the cart down the hallway!
